Walk Kansas is organized by the K-State Research & Extension’s Post Rock District. It is an 8-week team-based program focused on improving overall health. Groups of six form a team, with one serving as the captain. Teams can be family, coworkers, friends, community organization members, neighbors, or part of a faith-based community. Team members do not have to live in the same town, county, state or country. More information is available at: https://www.walkkansas.org/
Interested in forming a Walking Club? A few members of the Live Healthy Lincoln County are helping to form walking clubs that will motivate people to get out and get moving!
