Plans for the Sylvan Grove Public Library’s future expansion is starting to get real! The economic development office’s summer interns met with library staff and a few board members this morning to review schematic designs.

In the spring of 2018, the Lincoln County Economic Development Foundation invited businesses and organizations in the downtown districts of the Lincoln, Sylvan Grove, Barnard and Beverly communities to apply to the Downtown Design Assistance Program. Sylvan Senior Center

The Sylvan Grove Senior Center was one of eight summer projects that were part of the Downtown Design Assistance Program. The goal of the program is to work with property owners and develop plans to improve their exterior and/or interior spaces. The proposed improvements for the Sylvan Grove Senior Center are shown below.

The Sylvan Senior Center was one of eight summer projects that were part of the 2018 Downtown Design Assistance Program. The proposed exterior improvements at the Sylvan Senior Center included an updated awning, paint and new signage, and interior plans include updated kitchen cabinetry and island, an ADA accessible bathroom, a new projector and screen and relocating the television. Sylvan Grove Public Library

The Sylvan Grove Library was one of the projects of the Downtown Design Assistance Program. The architecture and interior design plans are shown below.
