NOTICE TO BIDDERS – Sealed bids will be received by the Lincoln County Economic Development Foundation on behalf of Lincoln State, LLC. until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, for the furnishing of all labor and materials specified and the performance of all work in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications for:
Lincoln State Bank Repairs

The scope of work of the project includes removal of the existing concrete entrance steps, railing, damaged stone & replacement with new stone capped concrete steps, railings, stone repair, and veneer.
Plans and specifications will be available on or about June 21, 2022 for examination and can be obtained from the Architect, Bruce McMillan AIA, Architects, P.A., 555 Poyntz Avenue, Suite 295, Manhattan, Kansas 66502 (776-1011) upon deposit of the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each set. Requests for plans to be mailed will require a $15.00 non-refundable postage and handling fee submitted separately from the deposit. A CD may be purchased and mailed for $10.00 or plans may be provided electronically or obtained from the Lincoln County Economic Development Foundation at https://www.livelincolncounty.com/repairs-to-lincoln-state-bank/. Unsuccessful bidders only upon returning such set(s) promptly and in good condition within 10 days after date specified for receiving bids will be refunded the full amount. Plan deposits will not be refunded to planholders not supplying bids. A Contractor’s Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305-2020 shall be submitted with the bid. Without this submittal and required verifications with the bid, it will be rejected.

This project is partially funded by a Heritage Trust Fund Grant through the Kansas State Historical Society. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements and all work must be in compliance with the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for treatment of Historic Properties and stipulations provided in the Heritage Trust Fund Grant Awarded by the Kansas State Historical Society.
Bid Security will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder qualifications are required in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Contract time will be set in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Agreement. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive irregularities in bidding.
No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of Thirty (30) days after the date of the opening of the Bids.
A pre-bid conference will be held Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at 101 West Lincoln, Lincoln, KS.
