Landfill
The Lincoln County Transfer Station processes the bulk of Lincoln County’s waste. County residents are able to bring waste to the landfill and often times at no charge, depending on the type of waste. Visit their website for more information on acceptable and unacceptable waste. The station is located at 1385 N. 170th Road in Lincoln. (785) 524-3302
Summer hours of operation are:
- Monday -Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Winter hours of operation (approx. mid-October – April) are:
- Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Recycling
Lincoln County has two recycling options for county residents. Lincoln County Recycling is available 24/7 for residents to drop-off items at their building at 301 N. 7th Street in Lincoln. Items accepted are limited to paper, plastic, aluminum cans and box board.
CB Trucking & Services in Beverly accepts all recyclables including scrap iron, old autos, and aluminum cans. Items can be dropped off at their facility 300 S. Main Street in Beverly on Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. CB Trucking & Services also offers pickup services direct to residents of Lincoln County communities for a fee. Customers are provided with a container and a list of acceptable items. All recyclables are placed in the container with no sorting required. Customers place the container out on the curb on pick-up. The full container is picked up and and another empty one is left. Fee is $10/month with 2 pick-ups a month.
Trash Pickup for Community Residents
RanDan in Barnard handles all the Lincoln County trash pickup services. City residents are typically billed for trash pickup as part of their city utility bill. For more information on trash service for a specific community, please contact the community’s city hall.
