2020 #LiveLincolnCounty Photo Contest

#LiveLIncolnCounty Photo Contest is open now through Sunday, November 22, 2020.

Lincoln County Economic Development Foundation (LCEDF) is hosting the 2020 #LiveLincolnCounty Photo Contest and will be accepting digitally submitted photos now through Sunday November 22, 2020.

The purpose of this contest is to positively promote quality of life in Lincoln County, Kansas.  The overall theme of this year’s #LiveLincolnCounty photo contest is “Hometown Pride”.  Subject material of photos should demonstrate one of the following categories:

  • Back Where I Come From
  • Leopard Pride or Mustang Strong
  • Opportunity Knocks
  • Charming Places
  • Beautiful Food

Only your own original photos may be entered into the contest, and should not have been entered in a previous photo contest. Photos are to be taken in Lincoln County, Kansas. We are especially seeking photos the include the PEOPLE of Lincoln County. LCEDF encourages community members and alumni to enter the contest by uploading high-resolution, original photos to this page using the form below.

Photos uploaded should be larger than 1 MB in size, uploaded at full resolution (and not a screenshot), and with no filters applied. Entries received that do not meet these minimum requirements will not be judged. 

A panel of judges will select winners based on quality, creativity, and demonstration of contest categories. A category must have at least three entries to be judged. 

  • Overall Grand Prize: $200!
  • Top photo in each of the five categories: $50

Photos that meet the requirements of the contest will be added to a photo album on the Live Lincoln County Facebook and Instagram pages following the entry deadline of November 22, 2020. After a voting period of one week, the photo with the most likes and shares across all platforms will be selected as the People’s Choice winner for an additional $50 prize. 

Participants and winners agree to allow their photos to be used in various print and online publications, including the website, social media, table tents, brochures, and other promotional materials. Photos that include people may require a signed model release.

The 2020 photo contest is now closed for entries. Thank you to everyone that submitted entries for this year’s contest!

All five categories received at least three entries and will be judged in the coming week. Announcements will be made soon, and photos will be posted on our social media accounts for the “People’s Choice” voting.
