Foreman

Deep Creek Construction, L.L.C. is an underground utility contractor that primarily installs water systems for small towns and rural water districts in the western half of Kansas. Spring and summer projects are being scheduled now. We have the following positions open and will fill in the next 30-60 days:

Laborers – position includes manual labor to put together pipe, operate small tools to assemble fittings, hydro excavate to locate buried utilities, among other tasks. Starting wage is $13.50 with benefits available after 60 days full-time employment. Candidates must have valid driver’s license. Additional pay available for Class A CDL and experience with underground utility construction. 

Equipment Operator –  skilled equipment operators for mini-excavators, skidsteer, backhoes, directional drills and other power equipment needed. Starting wage is $16.00 per hour, with up to $23.00 per hour on Davis-Bacon required projects. Benefits available after 60 days full-time employment. Equipment operator capability must be demonstrated. Must have valid driver’s license with additional pay available for Class A CDL. 

Foreman – utility project foreman needed to oversee project installation to meet engineered plans and specifications. Must be able to supervise approx. 4-8 employees, prioritize project tasks, assess equipment needs and maintenance, provide  quality control, and work with customers and project administrators in professional manner. Wage/salary and benefits package negotiable, based on experience. Must have valid driver’s license.
