Mark your calendar for the Vesper Community Center re-opening on Memorial Day May 30, 2022. An annual tradition, the memorial day luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2022. Sloppy Joes, chicken noodle soup, cheesy potatoes with ham, macaroni salad, and some AMAZING desserts will be waiting for you. This free-will donation meal served by volunteers is the center’s largest and most important fundraiser of the year.
The center is planning to have its brand new, stunning slate stone style floor completed for this event. Hundreds of hours of volunteered labor have been spent since March preparing the facility for a brand new floor. The new floor is being paid for with grants funded by Dane G Hansen and the Post Rock Community Foundations along with individual donations. Regular activities at the center will resume in June. After Memorial day, Bingo is happening on June 4, 2022, and the Farmer’s Markets return on Thursday, June 16, 2022!
