The Exploration Place will be presenting a program at the Library. This program is geared for ages 5 to 12. Children will discover how certain marine animals create their own light, learn how marine animals hear sounds, and explore what a fish looks like on the inside. They will also discover Kansas fossils and their marine history.
This will be a hands-on learning experience and space in the meeting room will be somewhat limited.
To accommodate as many children as possible, we are breaking into three 40-minute sessions.
- The first session will start at 10:00.
- The second session will start at 10:40.
- The third session will start at 11:20.
To keep kids occupied before and after the sessions, there will be crafts, activity sheets, and a movie in other parts of the library.
This will be a come-and-go event.
