As of 6/29/2020, Lincoln County was notified of a first case of Covid-19, for a person living out of the state at this time, but with a primary address in Lincoln County.

Also, as of 6/29/2020, Governor Laura Kelly announced that face masks will be required in all public spaces in Kansas, beginning Friday, July 3, per executive order.

Update from the Lincoln County Health Department as of 7/20: Follow recommended/mandated local Kansas county COVID-19 safety guidance! coronavirus.kdheks.gov. Lincoln still has 5 cases. 1 active and 4 recovered. We have 9 people in quarantine. And several lab tests that are pending.

Lincoln County Courthouse
The Lincoln County Courthouse will return to normal operating hours 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The drop box located at the south basement entrance will remain available 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Lincoln City Hall
The City office will be open to the public starting 6/4/2020, and the basketball slab and park playground equipment is officially open with the signage up! Final discussions about the pool are scheduled for the June 8 meeting of the City Council. 

Utility payments can still be made online at https://www.lincolnks.org, by drop box in City Hall entry or by calling in.  Payments by phone will be accepted from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  785-524-4280

Lincoln Post Office
The office is open for business, but for safety reasons if you prefer, call us at 785-524-4486 if you need stamps. We will work with you to remain as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kansas Dept. Wildlife, Parks & Tourism
Nearly all KDWPT offices are now open to the public. Please practice social distancing and observe all safety precautions put in place by staff.  Kansas state parks, fishing lakes and wildlife areas are open to the public. U.S. Department of Agriculture service centers are encouraging visitors to take proactive protective measures to help prevent the spread of new coronavirus.  All service center visitors wishing to conduct business with the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, or any other service center agency should call service centers and make appointments before visiting.

KANcycle-Zagster Bike Sharing
Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, Zagster has made the difficult decision to suspend all bike rentals, including those in the KANcycle program operated by OCCK Transportation. Locations impacted include 80 bikes at 16 rental stations in Salina, Minneapolis, Concordia, Belleville, Mankato, Beloit, Lincoln and Ellsworth.

Hoisington Vet Hospital – Your Other Family Doctor
We are are in Lincoln on Tuesdays only until further notice. We are also doing curbside service. Wilson Lake, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Starting Monday, June 1st our 3 parks (Minooka, Lucas, and Sylvan) are open to all camping.
All 3 campgrounds are moving to cashless. No cash or checks will be accepted. There is no longer a 2-day reservation window. Reservations can be made “real time” using your smartphone. Reservation tags on the site posts will still be posted, but may not be “accurate” due to the removal of the 2-day reservation window. You can make your reservations at Recreation.gov. The call centers are currently closed indefinitely due to stay at home orders in the states they are located in.
*Please make sure that you book the campsite prior to setting up any equipment.*
*Day Use Fees are canceled for this summer. All Corps of Engineers boat ramps will be free of charge.*
