As of Saturday 3/28/2020, Kansas Governor Laura Kelly has issued a state-wide Stay At Home order that takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2020.

Local Government Organizations

Lincoln County Courthouse
Per resolution, the Lincoln County Courthouse is closed for public access. Please call and make an appointment to conduct business at any office within the building. Only one person will be allowed in a department’s office at a time. More details are available on the website:

Public Access to Commission Meetings:
Below is the information to access the commission meeting remotely. If you choose to access via telephone, please mute your phone by pressing *6 and unmute by pressing *6. If it becomes an issue I will mute all devices and callers, and unmute when the chairman asks for comments from attendees. Lincoln County Health Department
Working with county leaders, responders and the health care community to be prepared. Any closings and recommendations are being done to SLOW THE SPREAD of this disease so our health care system is not overwhelmed. We urge caution and not panic. A call line at KDHE has been set up for any questions. 1-866-534-3463. You can also email general inquiries to [email protected].

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is still open for business. We have made some changes to the way we operate due to COVID-19. We are temporarily suspending our civil fingerprinting services, and we are not processing concealed carry permits at this time. The Lincoln County Jail and our office building are currently locked down which means there is NO public admittance or visitation with inmates. We are still answering our phones, and deputies are still responding to calls for assistance. Call our office to set up VIN inspections. Registered Offenders can call to set up a time to register with our office over the telephone. 785-524-4479.

Lincoln City Hall
In an effort to be proactive so the City can continue to provide essential services that support life, health and safety within Lincoln, City Hall doors will be closed to the public until further notice.  All City services will be available but we are asking the community to handle those by email or phone.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  Utility payments can be made online at, by drop box in City Hall entry or by calling in.  Payments by phone will be accepted from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  If you pay with cash, no change will be given.

Health & Education Organizations

Lincoln County Hospital & Clinics
LCH is restricting all visitors at this time
All patients are being screened for COVID-19 prior to entry. Contact the Medical Center prior to your visit to avoid screening and waiting. Medical advice will be provided over the telephone when possible.

Sylvan Grove Medical Center is temporarily closed until further notice. Patients may contact the Lincoln County Medical Center for appointments and free transportation services.

Patterson Health Mart Pharmacy – Lincoln
Please call ahead for your prescriptions, refills and over the counter needs.
Arrangements will be made for delivery, mail or curbside service.

Heller Chiropractic
UPDATE 3/27/20: Until further notice Dr. Luce will not be seeing patients. Dr. Heller will be available Monday through Saturday by appointment.

Lincoln Senior Center
Delivery meals ONLY
The Lincoln Senior Center board in conjunction with the Lincoln County Health Department and North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging have decided it would be best for the safety of our senior citizens to offer ONLY delivery meals. The menu is posted on the facebook page.

USD 298 Lincoln Schools
All public schools will be closed for the remainder of the school year. Information on the continued learning plans is available now, please reach out to the schools with questions. USD 298 will provide free grab & go lunches and next day breakfasts to children residing in our district ages 1 through 18. More information on how to order and a menu is available on the school facebook page.

USD 299 Sylvan-Lucas Schools
All public schools will be closed for the remainder of the school year. Information regarding lunches, pickup of school items, technology, and plans and schedules for continued learning is available, contact the schools for more information.

Lincoln Recreation Department
The Lincoln Recreation Commission has made the difficult decision to cancel spring soccer. We are issuing credits to all families who registered for spring soccer that can be used towards future activities. If you would like a refund you will need to contact the Rec Department via Facebook messenger, text, or email. At this time we are still planning summer T-Ball, Baseball, and Softball as normal. Online registration is open, and no fees are required at this time. We have equipment that can be rented (deposit is required and will be returned when balls are brought back). There is a limit to the amount of equipment we have for rentals, please contact us if you are interested.

Parents As Teachers (PAT)
All Group Connections will be cancelled March 16 through March 27.  If school is cancelled in your district, Personal Home Visits through PAT will also be cancelled.

Post Rock Extension District
Our offices are currently operating in a soft closure format, and request all patrons to make an appointment with a staff member while walk-in access to the office is unavailable. You can reach us by phone, email, or social media. Our team will continue to work diligently to serve the community through the K-State Research and Extension mission!

Central Kansas Mental Health
Central Kansas Mental Health Center is OPEN and ready to help! At present, we are still accepting in-person appointments, and have opened most services to be done through secure video chat or telephonically as well. It is very important to us that our patients have access to the mental health care they need, especially during this time of uncertainty.

Starting Monday, March 23, we will be open 10 to 2 carry out only, the dining room will be closed. We have our to-go window open it is on the patio side of the restaurant, call ahead or order at the window!

There will be NO Dine-In as we will be offering Carry-Out only for the time being. We will keep everyone updated on any changes as they happen. Please stay safe and healthy, and as always, we thank you for your continued business.

Fly Boy Brewery & Eats

Effective Tuesday, March 31, we will be temporarily adjusting our days of operations. We will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays until further notice. We will still be open Wednesday-Sunday!

Mity Mart
Mity Mart is still open regular hours. We are just asking customers to carry out and to not bring in outside cups to refill from the fountain machine.


Citizens State Bank & Trust Co.
Effective Friday, March 20, 2020, all Citizens State Bank & Trust locations will implement lobby restrictions to help combat the spread of the coronavirus. Lobby doors will remain locked during business hours. Transactions will be handled through Drive thru facilities, Walk-up facilities, Call ahead to make an appointment, and Online/mobile banking.

Bank of Tescott
Lobbies are temporarily closed at all locations, effective Thursday, March 19, 2020, until further notice. Please visit our website,, for updates on the evolving situations within our communities. We have online and mobile banking options for you and that includes the ability to make mobile deposits.

Farmway Credit Union
Due to Covid-19, effective March 25, Farmway Credit Union-Lincoln Branch business hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the door to remain locked. Call during these hours to schedule an appointment for any loan work. Please feel free to use the night deposit. The Beloit drive thru will be open from 9:00 to 4:00 and their phone 1-800-530-5154  will also be answered during this time.

Post Rock Motel
We will not be allowing any new check-ins to the motel for the next 2 weeks.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Closed until further notice and no donations are being accepted until they reopen.

VFW Post #7928
We will be closed until further notice. Including, all scheduled events, gatherings and other activities have been cancelled as well. Stay safe and we will keep you posted with any changes.

Lincoln Carnegie Library
Closed through at least Mar 22. We have free e-books, audiobooks and movies available through Hoopla and Sunflower e-library. Call the library at 785-524-4034 for assistance.

Lincoln County Historical Museum
Closed through the end of March.

Post Rock Scout Museum & Crispin’s Drug Store Museum
Closed until further notice.

Village Lines
We appreciate and respect the leadership of our Governor concerning the virus spread and are fortunate to for now, anyway, to be in rural Kansas. We are still open for those who need our gluten and dairy-free foods, observing the 6′ distancing rule.

Seirer’s Clothing

Finch Theatre
The Finch Theatre will be closed through March 31. All movies and activities scheduled at the Finch including rentals are cancelled. Family Hair Flair
We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close both locations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This goes into effect on Tuesday March 31st, after 14 days we will reevaluate. Farm Service and Conservation Office
U.S. Department of Agriculture service centers are encouraging visitors to take proactive protective measures to help prevent the spread of new coronavirus. All service center visitors wishing to conduct business with the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, or any other service center agency should call service centers and make appointments before visiting.

Central Valley Ag
To help fight the spread of COVID-19, and for the safety of our employees and customers, Central Valley Ag has closed our offices to all outside traffic, effective immediately. Our locations remain open for business, we are just closing access to the location offices. We are still accessible via phone, email or by appointment. Please consult the CVA website to find the contact information for your location.

Lincoln Building Supply
Due to the current health crisis and for the safety of our customers and employees, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily shut down access to our building. Lincoln Building Supply will now be operating a call in and pick up service. Pickup locations will be at the southside door and outside bay for lumber items. We will not be accepting cash or checks at this time. Charge accounts and credit cards will be accepted.

KANcycle-Zagster Bike Sharing
Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, Zagster has made the difficult decision to suspend all bike rentals, including those in the KANcycle program operated by OCCK Transportation. Locations impacted include 80 bikes at 16 rental stations in Salina, Minneapolis, Concordia, Belleville, Mankato, Beloit, Lincoln and Ellsworth.

Mrs. B’s Greenhouse
Mrs. B’s will plan on opening the Spring season the week of April 13th. Due to the concerns of our shoppers during the Covid-19, we will be offering curbside service and also looking at some delivery options. We due accept major credit cards and debits we can take orders via phone. Also will be open for walk-in business just limiting to 10 people at a time. This year the focus is offering more essential items like a wide variety of vegetable plants, herbs, etc. We will also have some bedding plants as well. This is our plan at the present time. As you all know things are changing daily with the Covid-19 Pandemic, so if anything changes we will post on Facebook. Thank you for supporting small businesses.

Hayworth’s Plumbing, Heating & Hardware
Hayworth’s is staying open for essential needs at this time, but would like to encourage customers to call in their order ahead of time at 524-3442, and the staff will get it ready for you. There is a new service area just inside the door and this designated area should have only one customer at a time, for everyone’s safety.  Thank you for your understanding.

Sylvan Grove Public Library
The library is closed until April 3.  Call to make arrangements to stock up on Friday between 1-5 pm. There will be no interlibrary loan or courier service available for several weeks. The library’s email is [email protected] the City Office phone is 526-7188. The library has Hoopla, Sunflower e-library and state resources for you to use for free! Contact for details if you need to be set up to use these services or would like a library card.

Wilson Lake, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
All campgrounds and restrooms are closed. All utilities (electric and water) are shut off and no overnight camping is allowed. Vehicle access to parks is still accessible. Hiking trails and boat ramps remain open. As of now, there are no impacts to camping reservations for this summer. Conditions are constantly changing and any updates will be provided as soon as possible.

Sylvan Sales Commission
Sylvan Sales Commission will continue to have sales. We realize that this is a critical time for our customers that need cash flow for spring expenses and we want to continue offering the opportunity to sell for those that want or need to do so. We do ask that, for the safety of you, our buyers and staff, please minimize the time you spend at the market and especially in the sale arena. We encourage you to bring your stock to town and let us take it from there. Please call the office with your cattle information. If you cannot wait for your check in the mail just let us know and we will work out a solution. We encourage you to watch your livestock sell on

Wilson State Bank
You have our pledge that our branches will remain open with normal business hours, and we will continue to provide you with full-service banking. At some point, we may need to restrict lobby access on a limited basis. In the event it becomes necessary, we will announce that by e-mail, social media, branch signage and local media outlets. Lincoln Community Church
The Elders have chosen to cancel Sunday services for March 22nd and March 29th. After this time, we will re-evaluate and determine what is the best direction for the flock going forward.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Sylvan Grove
Until the coronavirus crisis passes we will be moving to smaller and shorter worship services, all with the Sacrament, more often, and canceling all our other activities (youth group, Bible Study, Sunday School, etc.) At the moment we will be attempting to limit our worship services to ten people to try and accommodate the new standards put out by the county health department. We will be having services on Sundays at 10 A.M. and 5 P.M. and on Wednesday at 6 P.M. We are attempting to keep our Sunday morning service designated for our older members. If you are planning to come to a service, please call (734-790-1992), text, e-mail ([email protected]) or message Pastor and let him know which service you’ll be coming to so that we can try and limit the services to ten people. If we need to add more services we can do so.

Central Christian Church in Lincoln
Will not be having church the next two Sundays.

Post Rock Cluster United Methodist Churches (Lincoln, Barnard, Beverly, Hunter)
The Post Rock Cluster UMC – Barnard, Beverly, Hunter, and Lincoln churches have suspended worship services at this time until further notice. The Cluster will be following the recommendations of the CDC and local health officials. The Cluster website is currently under construction as are plans for worship, devotions, and gatherings to be held online.

St. Patrick’s Church in Lincoln
The Bishop of the Salina Diocese has cancelled all Masses throughout the Diocese, except for funerals.
So until further notice there will be NO SUNDAY MASSES or WEEKDAY MASSES.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Hunter
April 1st and 5th services will be Facebook LIVE only. Stay tuned for updates on future services.

Denmark Evangelical Lutheran Church ELCA
Church services will be on the Facebook page on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

First Baptist Church of Barnard
At 11:00 Sunday morning, the First Baptist Church will have drive-in services. An FM transmitter will be set up so that participants can enjoy the service from their car by tuning to an FM station on the radio. The station will be available at the service.

Beverly Community Church
No regular services until further notice.

St. John’s & St. Paul’s Lutheran Churches
St. John and St. Paul’s Lutheran churches in Lincoln are planning on holding services tomorrow, Sunday, March 29th. We will take precautions as we gather, keeping our distance as families and receiving God’s comfort in His Word and Sacrament as responsibly as we are able.
