Adopt-a-Table

For the 2020 Banquet, the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce is again offering an opportunity for local organizations, businesses and individuals to Adopt-a-Table, thereby decorating and setting a table for the banquet. There is no cost to participate, but you may want to purchase tickets!

This year is the Sesquicentennial, or 150th anniversary of Lincoln County, and table adopters may wish to incorporate that into their table theme in some way. This is not required. The educational theatrical entertainer Ken Church plans to interact with the audience, please keep that in mind as well.

There are 20 tables available on a first-come basis. There will be a waiting list for a second table. Tables are 48” round and seat six

(6) people. Please plan to set your table with a tablecloth, napkins, dinner plates (to be used during meal), drinking glass, coffee cup, silverware, and centerpiece. No candles please. Tables must be “dressed” between 3 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, no exceptions. Please plan to clear your own table following the event. Tables will be numbered for voting, and each table’s adopter will be revealed when winners are announced during the banquet.

The Chamber encourages creativity, keeping in mind that dinner guests will be using the table service and will appreciate clean, adequate dinnerware. The Chamber, nor guests, are responsible for items on the tables, the adopter accepts all risks.

Adopt-a-Table Registration Forms are available upon request at the Chamber office or by emailing or calling the office.

Tickets to the Banquet are also available for $25 each.
