The local Pheasants Forever chapter is dedicated to the Conservation of Pheasants, quail, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs.
Mission: Pheasants Forever was founded in 1982 to respond to the continuing decline of the ring-necked pheasant populations. PF is a conservation organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of pheasants and other wildlife populations through habitat improvement, public awareness, education and land management policies that benefit wildlife.
Fundraiser/Volunteer Efforts: The Post Rock Ringnecks chapter of Pheasants Forever provides hunter education classes, youth hunts, youth fishing clinics, and an Annual Banquet and Silent Auction to kick off the upland game bird hunting season. THIS annual banquet each November offers dinner, raffles, silent auctions and other prizes. These fund projects for youth and habitat development, including the annual mentored youth hunt.
